The brief
A smooth, low-maintenance floor was wanted for a commercial interior. Because polished concrete depends on the slab itself, the surface was assessed before the achievable finish was discussed.
What was done
The concrete was ground and then polished through progressive stages to develop the finish. The stages and the final appearance depend on the slab, which is why the result is agreed against the actual surface rather than assumed.
